Il Gran Sasso d’Italia, la Montagna nel Cuore del Mediterraneo…

My colleague #ilbosso, with passionate Touristic operator and specialized expert, all together we shared an idea which became a positive and ambitious project.
The Emblematic Mountain in the Mediterranean’s heart.
The ecojourney “From Tirino to Gran Sasso, lands of saints and warriors”, starts from the springs of the most beautiful and pure river of Italy, in the village of Capestrano where everyday it is possible to share experiences on Canadian canoe and kayak thanks to Super canoeist and guests. The ecojourney continues to the village of Ofena with historical vineyards, and Villa Santa Lucia degli Abruzzi with its Tholos, and then arrive to Castel Del Monte, a former capital of pastoralism and Abruzzo transhumance. The ecojourney reach to the astonishing green plan of Campo Imperatore Plateau, at the slopes of the highest pick of Appennino, where the Corno Grande Mountain, with its 2912 mt. a.s.l., nearly achieve the sky. So far, it crosses the romantic village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio and Calascio with its famous castle of Rocca Calascio. It arrives in the little village of Castelvecchio Calvisio and moves on to Barisciano, the potato’s village. From here the ecojourney leads into lands of Aquilan saffron with the villages of San Pio delle Camere and the marvelous Navelli, and then to come back into the Tirino Valley.
The ecojourney is a route of stories, people, local identity, and Abruzzo inner land traditions and cultures, the real one, so intense, Gentle and Strong (as the Vate said ndt) at the slopes of this emblematic mountain.
As a Network we put lots of effort in this project, humbly and duly we use skills and passion of our everyday profession as a Mission, with the purpose to get to truly alive a quality Tourism of high-quality region like Abruzzo is.
With this video I would like to thanks everyone who had been involved or is still involved in this project to stress on beauty, as servant of the territory and our community, putting the collective spirits before everything, in an ethical view of development and a fair, sympathetic and integrated touristic offer.
The unique true way to concrete and fair touristic future in Abruzzo Region is quality, seriousness, cooperation, respect, liability, authenticity, passion and professionalism.
The rest was already given generously by Nature.
